Amid uncertain times, we believe there could not be a better time for us all to come together, in support of one another, and to remind ourselves of the one thing we know for certain, and that is the importance of protecting our children and future generations. 

 

We have accomplished a lot throughout the years, but we know that ensuring the comprehensive protection of children and their rights can never be reached through the efforts of a single organization. A strong, nationwide network must be in place to safeguard the rights of all children residing on Lebanese soil. That network must extend from individual citizens, professionals, governmental ministries, agencies, and other organizations including, but not limited to, schools and media outlets etc. 

 

As part of our efforts towards building and strengthening the child protection network, himaya is launching its first online presentation series entitled the “101- Strengthening the Child Protection Network: The Role of Community Members” which is OPEN to the public. Through these presentations himaya hopes to highlight the importance of collaboration and exchange at the different levels of the child protection network while tackling the basics in child protection topics.

 

Whether you are a professional working with children, or a parent raising children, these presentations could be beneficial for every person working or interacting with children in different settings.

 

Through himaya’s presentations:
